I'm interested in joining the choir.  What do I do?

Can I sit in on a rehearsal?
In order to protect our choristers' concentration, we keep our rehearsals private.  Upon request, we do occasionally allow visitors in for short periods of time at the instructors' approval.  If you would like to schedule a visit, please call 403-686-7444.

I was in the choir last year.  How do I register for next year?
Please contact our office for more details, to discuss which choir level is appropriate and to arrange auditions if necessary.

What is a membership renewal?  
Before we built our new website, our members would fill a registration form at the start of each year.  The new way to register for returning choristers is to renew your membership through our website.  Renewing members only need to update the information already on file, so renewals don't require members to fill out the whole registration package each year.  

How do I renew my choir membership?
You will need to know your e-mail address and password.  After you have contacted us about joining for another year, we will send you an e-mail with a URL to the membership renewal page.  Type your e-mail and password and click next. On the following pages, review your data.  Look to make sure that the membership level and the "renew until" date make sense, then click Next.  Verify that your profile information is accurate, make corrections where necessary, then click Next when you are ready to proceed to checkout.  Confirm your renewal information, then click Confirm to submit your renewal request.  

If you have chosen the manual payment method, an e-mail containing payment instructions will be sent to you.  The renewal process is not complete until you bring your choir fee cheques to the office.

If you have chosen to pay online, you will be led to the PayPal Website Payments portal.  Follow the instructions there to make your payment.  Once payment is complete, an e-mail confirming your online renewal will be sent to you and the process is complete.

If you have multiple choristers to renew, repeat the above process with each chorister's e-mail login.

I cannot log in!
If you've checked that you've typed your e-mail address and password correctly and that you're using the correct e-mail address, and you still receive an error message saying "Sorry, we could not log you in. Please check your e-mail and password and try again,"  please try resetting your password by clicking the "Forgot password" link, also found here.  http://calgarygirlschoir.com/Sys/ForgottenPasswordRequest  

If you have reset your password and the new password still does not work, please call our office at 403-686-7444 or e-mail us at info@calgarygirlschoir.com.

What e-mail address do I use to log in?
To log into a chorister's account, use the e-mail address you provided in their registration form.  If you are unsure what e-mail address you provided to us, please contact us at 403-686-7444 or at info@calgarygirlschoir.com.

If you have multiple choristers, each should have a unique e-mail address.  Every chorister has been contacted about arranging e-mail addresses.  

To register for events, volunteering or bingo shifts, please use the eldest chorister's account.  Otherwise, to update profile information, use the appropriate e-mail address for the account you wish to modify.

If you have not responded to our us about a separate address, or if you haven't made arrangements with us yet, please contact us as soon as possible.  The process is simple, and we don't want you to miss out on the website's members-only features like online bingo shift registration, member news, online membership renewals and more.

What is my password?  How do I change my password?

How do I change my e-mail address?
Log into our website, then click on "View profile" in the upper right.  Click the "Edit" button to change your e-mail address, among your other profile details.  Please ensure your e-mail address is typed correctly to ensure you do not miss vital choir communications.

How do I check my profile information?
Log into our website, then click on "View profile" in the upper left. Click the "Edit" button to make corrections to your profile details.

How do I register to be a volunteer?
Log into our website, navigate to the Member Events tab, then click on the Volunteering Sign-Up link.  A list of volunteering events will appear.  Choose an event, click on the Register link and follow the instructions to sign up.

How do I register for a bingo shift?
Log into our website, navigate to the Members tab, then click on the Bingo Shifts Sign-Up link.  A calendar of bingo shifts will appear.  Choose a shift, click on the Register link and follow the instructions to sign up.

How do I signal my attendance for a concert?
Log into our website, navigate to the Member Events tab, then click on the Junior Choir Events or Senior Choir Events link.  Locate the concert event, click on the Register link and follow the instructions to sign-up.

How do I order fundraising campaign items?
Fundraising goods order forms can be found on our website in Fundraiser Forms under the Members tab.  To place your order, please print and fill out your order form, write a cheque and bring both to our office before the end of the campaign.
