Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod
The Calgary Girls Choir (Brava) took second place in the
Youth Choir Competition at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod
in Wales. They scored 91 points and lost by one point to The Australian
Singers. Elaine and the choristers are "over the moon" with
the result.
Congratulations and best wishes in the other competitions.
The Calgary Girls Choir took third place with a score of
89 in the Children's
Choir Competition (21 choirs participated) at the Llangollen International
Musical Eisteddfod in Wales today. The winner was from Croatia (91 points)
and second place went to a Welsh choir (90 points). Elaine and the
choristers are once again "over the moon" with the result.
Congratulations and best wishes in the Folk Song Competition on Saturday.
