Wanda Le, Director - Junior Programs
Wanda Le currently holds a Bachelor of Music with Distinction and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. During her studies, her love of children and music led her to focus on Kodály Pedagogy and to specialize in elementary music education. She has completed the graduate program at the Summer Kodály Institute at the University of Calgary and holds a graduate diploma in Fine Arts. In addition to her position with the Calgary Girls Choir, Wanda is also an elementary music specialist.

Lesley Hadford, Instructor - Bella Southeast
Lesley Hadford holds a Bachelor of Music degree with Distinction from the University of Calgary and is also a graduate of the university’s Summer Kodály Institute. She is an experienced Ragazze chorister and gifted soprano soloist.

Lesley teaches community early childhood music programs and her private studio. She joined the Calgary Girls Choir this fall as the Bella Southeast instructor. Lesley is also the Rehearsal Assistant for several Junior Program groups, helping parent volunteers, families and the Choir office.

Edward Choi, Accompanist – Allegra
Edward Choi recently graduated from the Oberlin College Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music in piano and clarinet performance. He also spent a number of years doing freelance accompanying and teaching in Ohio. Edward now resides in Calgary and is the senior accompanist with the Calgary Girls Choir.

Jenny Lynn McCue - Accompanist – Ragazze
Jenny Lynn McCue holds her Bachelor of Music degree with distinction from the University of Alberta, where she studied both piano and violin. She also holds a Master of Teaching (Bachelor of Education) degree from the University of Calgary. Jenny Lynn received her Kodály Diploma after completing the University of Calgary’s graduate program. She holds an Associate diploma in violin, and Solo Performer diploma in piano from the Western Board of Music. Jenny Lynn returns from a sabbatical year to accompany Calgary Girls Choir-Allegra.

Olivia Jo, Accompanist – Dolce
Born in Toronto, Olivia has studied music for seventeen years and is currently a music student at the University of Calgary. She loves to teach and interact with children through music. Olivia also accompanies the Baptist Church Hallelujah Choir, plays keyboard in the college band, and is a piano instructor. Calgary Girls Choir welcomes Olivia to her first season with our Choral Program.

Sarah Wipf, Accompanist – Viva
