Bingo Credit
  1. Participate: A chorister's family, friends and relatives may work bingo shifts on their behalf.  A number of shifts are required, as shown below.  In addition, a family must provide a cheque for each of their required shifts.  The cheques must be undated, in the amount of $300 each.  The cheques are to accompany the chorister's registration.  The office will hold onto the cheque until all required shifts are completed.  Any shifts worked in excess of the required shifts will earn $40 of credits per shift for the chorister.  Missed shifts incur a $300 penalty which the office will collect by cashing a cheque.

     Prima  1
     Bella  1

General Fundraising Credit
1. Participate
The Calgary Girls Choir offers several fundraising campaigns over the year to help reach their fundraising targets:
  • Fundscript (year round)
  • Grocery Gift Cards (September to May)
  • Poinsettias (November)
  • Sausages (October & March)
  • Kicking Horse Coffee (March)
  • Chocolates (March)
  • Spring Plants (April)
You may choose which fundraisers you would like to participate in.  You do not have to take part in all the campaigns.
The following table describes the targets that apply to each choir.
 Choir Level  Target Amount
 Prima  $50
 Bella  $50
 Dolce  $75
 Viva  $100
 Brava   $200
  • If you raise more money than your designated target, you will receive fundraising credits.  These credits can be used for Choir fees, uniform items, camp and tour fees and the Festive Concert DVD.  They cannot be used for CGC concert tickets or CDs.
  • Credits from previous years may not be used to meet the current target but may be used toward the aforementioned items.
  • Choristers in the same family receive a single target with a small reduction as a benefit to having multiple members in the Choir.  Credits earned by either chorister are pooled together towards this target.
  • If you raise money more than twice your target amount, additional credits will be split 50/50 between you and the Choir.
  • Earned credits carry forward to the next year, and may be transferred between sibling choristers.
  • If you leave the Choir, your credits are transferred to the Calgary Girls Choir by September 15 of the following choir year.
  • The Choir office maintains the general fundraising records, updates the chorister’s information in the Members section of the CGC website, and e-mails periodic statements.
2. General Fundraising Buyout Option
